Anti-War Activities in US

• Half Palestinian-Half Iraqi-born in Baghdad-went to US 2004
• Personal Experience- traveling to NY back to California- Wearing T-Shirt with the English and Arabic letters titled "I will not be silence". He was detained by the officer in the airport because he wearing something with Arabic language. He being asked to take off the T-shirt. He refused to do it and he got detained in the airport for few hours. This is very unfortunate and very sad situation because the US foreign Policies are actually affecting the US people perception against the Arabs.
• During the early occupation of Iraq, he worked with many Arabs youth in doing survey and documentary about the war in Iraq and found out that many people were killed especially the civilians.
• When we move to America, we found out that Manufactured Dilemma being educated to the US people. The wrong messages about Arabs were displayed to them. The US Government sends the message to their people that there is a need to intervene other countries.
• The US wants to create their own agenda in the invaded countries like Iraq and Afghanistan with their puppet government.
• The US wants to create the image where the people in Iraq actually live in disharmony e.g different sect of Sunni, Shiite and Kurds were actually fighting each others and Saddam Hussein used a cruel dictator.
• However they actually live in harmony before the intervention of Foreign Invader.
• One of the aspirations that Iraq had a long rich history of Political Changes. Only the Iraqis can change their government rather than Foreign Invasion.

He was involved in blogging in English before the invasion. The direct intervention between him and the foreigner like British and American open up new experience to the foreigner about how the Iraqis were different from the one that they watch in the mainstream ideas. This idea shows that without any propagandas played by ill-intention foreign media, the people can actually knows the real side of the story. One of the ways for us Muslim's Youth to reach other people heart and send the right message is through blogging. Blog up your ideas and reach the people's mind.
